Planning Conf. Top 10 Take-Aways
1. A planner is not their creative brief. A planner is their creative briefing.
2. Always be briefing.

This year's AAAA Account Planning Conference was held at the beautiful Lowes Hotel in Miami Beach. Over 600 domestic & international Strategic Planners spent the day in general & break-out sessions, then socialized through the evening at dinner, at The Delano & in the ocean.

Sunday Funday
Started the day with early FC service and teaching FC Kids another lesson in our Spy Chase series. Then caught up with Auntie Cherie over lunch at Cosmic Cafe before bolting out to FC Grapevine for Allaso Ranch Kids' Camp training ...
... and finally popped over to DFW for a flight to Miami tonight for the Account Planning Conference until Wednesday.

A Jazzy Double Date
Two incredibly thoughtful gentlemen, Matt & Maurice, planned a chillaxed eve out for Janay & I tonight. We headed out to listen to live jazz in the park, complete with a prepared picnic dinner (including delish choc-covered strawberries!) Thanks, guys! (We're thinking salsa lessons are next on the wish list ;o)

Matt showed up at my door with a dozen beautiful roses and que romantica dinner plans at Sushi Axiom. We wrapped up the eve with relaxing conversation, dessert & vino at the new neighborhood patio of Pulcinella.

Happy Birthday, 7-Eleven!
We planners were hard at work this morning! With 7-Eleven as one of our brands, we headed out for a full-on tour of some 7-Elevens to celebrate their July 11th (aka 7/11) promotion of free 7.11 oz. Slurpees from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.! Matt, Amanda, and I took in our fair share of these FREEzing treats ;o) ... my fav = Cafe Latte + Strawberry Twizzler mix!

Dress Rehearsal & Building
Tonight was rehearsals for FC Kids Adventure Weekend. While we actors rehearsed, these mighty builders built. Matt, Maurice, Kevin & crew did an incredible job transforming the new FC Kids area into a Backstage Blast!
